I ordered these for an 8 year old boy as part of his porg costume. They fit like tight pajama bottoms. He is a very slim boy and they are a perfect match. (He's about 2 months to 9 years old but he's probably skinny for his age.) I could have ordered this size up and up but I was short on time and couldn't decide what to do. I just wanted people to know that they're doing a good job for a boy in that context. It was hard to find orange dress pants for the boy. So they can also meet other legging needs for boys. They were a good weight - not too heavy and not too thin (about the weight of pajama bottoms). He was comfortable with them. The length was good too and I think he's an average height for his age. Actually, they were a lifesaver when I was looking everywhere for orange sweatpants for this porg costume. It worked great!
