Unfortunately I have to send this back and buy something else. I say unfortunate because if it weren't for the poor design of the mounting feet the rest of the article is worth the money. I wanted to use this mainly for eating in bed due to my back pain. The biggest issue I've encountered is that the legs break very easily if you move the table left or right without actually lifting the table all the way and taking all the weight off the legs. everything is well thought out. The locking mechanism is nothing more than a piece of plastic (see picture) that surrounds the leg and is slightly smaller than the diameter of the leg. So when you push the leg into place, it pushes the plastic apart and holds the legs in place. The only problem is that the plastic isn't strong enough to prevent the legs from breaking when you move the table left or right unless you pick the table up and then move it. I've almost spilled my plates of food on the ceiling a few times now just by pushing them a bit while eating. Another feature of this poor design is that over time the plastic part will wear down and become exposed. And the legs don't snap at all. The legs need a much better locking mechanism. I am returning it for these two reasons.
