This is a pretty good thermostat controller for its money. It turns on and off when it needs to run day or night and even gives you an extra always-on plug for whatever you need. I have two complaints: 1. The wiring is not very good. I wouldn't worry about that for a 30 watt radiant heater, but for anything beyond that I'd consider something heavier.2. The current temperature display for me came out of the packaging broken. Hitting the panel with my hand a few times can sometimes get it to work, but not always. It's not a deal breaker for me as I always use an external thermometer for second opinions and monitoring, but it's annoying. I would probably buy another if I needed an upgraded thermostat on a budget. You really can't get this feature set at this price point anywhere else. I'll eventually upgrade to something more powerful and with a higher build quality, but for now it's a nice step up from the base thermostat.
