I brought it along with my DSLR so I wouldn't have to lug around bulky telephoto lenses, but I ended up using the Nikon Coolpix P510 more often than the DSLR since its images were substantially clearer in situations where the DSLR seemed like they should have "beaten" the soap box. The Nikon Coolpix P510 has, yet again, shown its worth. offers benefits: One huge perk is the fantastic zoom. The optical quality is better than expected, with much less distortion. Third, a lengthy attention on a high-quality stub. Handheld photography of the moon is simple. The negatives: One, the likelihood of having to use manual focus is overstated. Soap is your guarantee that you won't be able to set the AF with your hands if you didn't grasp it. If you shoot a video without any sound, the zooming will sound like a tractor. The zoom is inaudible when there is a lot of background noise. 3x4 frames are popular but I'd prefer 1x1.5 4. The folding screen's clumsy layout, which is odd given that Nikon has made a strong investment in the swivel screen. The Nikon Coolpix P520, as far as I am aware, features a standard swivel screen.
