This case offers strong protection, especially around the edges. The downside is that it's a heavy case that turns my iPad Pro 12.9 into something that feels more like a laptop. The only question I have is the durability of the valve material that acts as the hinge for the cap. Let's see if that's a weak point since it's just some kind of microsuede-inside vinyl. Given the low price of the device, I'll be happy with a year or two of use. My last cover had a lid that folds into different shapes and held up well for about 12 months before the lid lost its shape. Eventually the entire lid wore out with use. This case is kept simple and apart from the hinge area it should hold up well. As an added bonus, there is an Apple Pencil slot.
