I bought this product after trying the beautyblender liquid cleanser and solid cleanser. Liquid gives you more product and can get your sponges and brushes wet, but the solid form is portable and has one major benefit for me - it has a pink pad to clean the beauty blender sponge. I bought a sponge a few days ago and then decided I needed to buy a cleaner to keep it nice. I ordered and the Revain was delivered the next day. I only used the sponge once and then wiped it down with a new cleaner and pad. It cleans makeup fairly thoroughly. So thorough that tons of pink dye came out. After rinsing the sponge I looked at it to make sure it was clean and I see the sponge has small tears from the pink pad! I called the Beautyblender ad, they asked me to send photos of the sponge and proof of purchase, which I did, and they basically told me to bring the sponge back to where I bought it and that they would return the sponge would not replace. They also said that the color coming out of the sponge is fine. I do not think so. I went back and read all the negative reviews and I'm not the only one saying the pink pad broke the beauty blender. Therefore I do not recommend this product. Use liquid or a different brand.
