Based on my observations, these walkie talkies are a waste of money for any parent looking for a reliable communication device for their kids while playing outdoors. The sound quality is terrible and the range is limited, rendering them useless when trying to communicate over any real distance. The build quality is also poor, making them easily breakable. On the plus side, they are a great addition to any kid's bin of unused Toys and Games. Unfortunately, that's about the only useful purpose they serve.
