This is a very durable tablet case that will protect your tablet well. Hard to hold so the strap helps. The strap and retractable stand are part of a rotating plate on the back that allows you to adjust the strap to your hand position. You can also position the stand to view your tablet in portrait or landscape mode. Since the stand is not centered for horizontal viewing, it is less stable. You need to steady the tablet when you need to touch the screen. The angle of the stand is convenient for watching a movie. It's not ideal for Zoom meetings as it rises under your chin. So I looked for a tablet stand and found that the 22mm thick case didn't fit in either stand I bought. This is a great durable tablet case for some but not for me. 3 stars because it's too thick for me.
