These cat cams are so cute. My grandchildren were thrilled when I gave them to them. I bought the pink one for my 5 year old granddaughter and the blue one for my 6.5 year old grandson. The camera has some nice color filters, stickers, and frames to choose from while recording. I love that the camera charges and you can use the charging cable to download photos and videos to your laptop or tablet. I love that you can zoom in on the pictures you've taken for a closer look and it's nice that there is a video function. However, there are some things that could be significantly improved. There's no way to control the volume of the videos you record, so you can't hear anything when the videos are playing. My grandkids love making videos. They always use my phone to record videos and pretend they have their own TV show. I figured if they had their own cameras it would save me the trouble of deleting so many photos and video clips from my phone that were taking up my phone's storage. My grandkids were very disappointed when they tried to watch the video they made and didn't hear any sound on any of their replays. Why even make a camera with video option and not be able to control the audio? The camera's battery doesn't last long on a charge either. While you can magnify a captured image, there is no way to magnify what you want to photograph before taking the photo. Also for a 5 and 6 year old kid it might not be that important but the picture quality is not very good. Photos are very grainy and of poor quality. At $40 a camera, it wasn't the best value. All my grandkids have tablets which they prefer to take videos and photos on and they still ask me to use my phone for photos and videos. At $40 these cameras were a nice but expensive gift and the novelty wore out after 1 week. I wouldn't buy them again.
