I ordered these about 4-5 years ago and I love them. needed them but how durable they were they were amazing. They were excellent to the end, battery and all. One fell out of my pocket at work and the other was stolen but I haven't had this new pair in a month and they've already shown they won't even come close to making the first set. They will start on their own or probably go away after a while. The third setting is lighter than the first, which should be the brightest. I think the battery is decent but not at all what it used to be, there's really no comparison between the two sets other than the brand and the looks I would just buy for the rest of my life but not after this last set of two . I've never had a spot that left room on my forehead, but it happens every time I wear them, and for some reason it doesn't matter which one they both wear. I use headlamps every day, and if you use something long enough, you know it. I know I want the same ones as my old set, not these, so I'll keep looking. My assessment may be a little harsh, having compared it to the first set, but that's it.
