I needed a different mouse than the Magic Mouse 2 for Mac OS X because, on the second axis—Windows—it occasionally glitches out when connecting via bluetooth; it appears the Makovsky wireless module itself is poorly compatible with Windows, despite my best efforts to replace and reinstall its drivers. The HP Z3700 white mouse was selected because its aesthetic complements my iMac; I have not been let down by its performance, which has been faultless for well over a month on both Windows and Mac OS X (High Sierra). The mouse is also a wonderful addition to the realm of tanks. According to the manufacturer, a single battery can last up to 16 months of use. Good news: the battery is built right in! I also appreciated how easy it was to open the mouse's lid—just use your fingernail to pry it open, and then pull it up. A wireless module can be stored inside the mouse, which is especially helpful for notebook users because it ensures that the tiny wireless receiver won't go missing. Except for gl, the mouse will eat whatever you put in front of it. It has a nice weight and balance in the hand. In general, I am satisfied with my 990 dollar investment. Take this fantastic small aid; you won't be sorry you did.
