love love love

I used to love the thick MasterCarve for punching, but after a few years I found that the pink Speedy-Carve worked better for me. I'm a bit rusty, so my eyes aren't as sharp and my hands aren't as nimble as they used to be. I seem to be working hard at MasterCarve right now. I don't go too deep into speedy carve and can get a lot of fine detail with standard linoleum cutting tools. The thinner Speedy-Carve benefits from clamping when creating larger residual limbs. And if you're unfamiliar with various carving materials, I recommend the Speedy-Carve over the ivory Speedball Speedy-Cut. I hate speed cut. It's crumbly, leaves fuzzy edges, and tends to break. Nothing is more annoying than spending a lot of time cutting out an intricate stamp and breaking it after just a few prints. So if you want to be happy, buy a Speedy-Carve! Here is one of my latest works. I love excited kittens.
