So far so good! Excellent purchase! It will stay in place if you attach it firmly to the vent! . but the whole bracket once fell right off the vent. But I figured this would happen because you are clamping one hard piece of material to another hard piece of material (clip and bleed) and I have no idea why the manufacturer didn't put silicone grommets in the bleed clamp like they do . clamps for the hands. So it fell down because it's just slippery and needs a silicone grip. So I cut off a small piece of that cabinet liner and taped it between the clamp and the vent, now it stays in place! but everything else still works fine! The clamp arms hold the phone tight and tight. The quick release button releases the phone easily. In general it's great! I'm glad I don't have to look at my phone and take my eyes off the road to see my GPS for directions. Note: When you get out of the car, don't forget to take your phone out of the holder, I always leave mine.
