Review on Kanto DMS1000 Desktop 17 Inch Displays by Bill Lyons

I was sent a used product - shame I had to pay full price for it. Although the product was packaged in new plastic, the product was clearly used. There are scratches on the main base on the inner tube - where you mount the rest of the mounting bracket. The screw that adjusts the height seems to be worn - it creaks a lot when you loosen it to ease movement, no matter how many times you loosen it it doesn't seem to help. The other issue was the 3 screws on the back that attach to the monitor. I just can't get the tilt function to work properly - tried it for a week or more, it either randomly oriented vertically or dropped the tilt entirely, there doesn't seem to be a fine line for this setting. Worst of all, I don't know if the product itself has design flaws or if I received a refurbished product that I paid full price for. This is my second bad experience with KANTO - previously I was sent a properly packaged but damaged (dropped and dented) SUB 8 subwoofer.
