Very comfortable blanket!

This blanket is the most comfortable I have ever had! I stand by my opinion. I have a rare nervous system disorder that causes intense burning, fever, discomfort and pain! I tried stuff after stuff to alleviate some of the symptoms, mainly fever. I had previously used a Turkish blanket which didn't bother my skin but kept me warm and over the years it wore out and my skin started to hurt so bad I couldn't use it anymore. When I'm not at work I use a lot of sheer wicker dresses because they are soft against my skin, which led me to look for wicker linens and found them with two options. Cools and warms! I figured if one side doesn't work I can always try the other side, I have nothing to lose by trying. I've always been a person who loves blankets, so finding one to carry around the house means a lot. On the one hand, the quality is comparable to the woven clothing I wear. Soft, comfortable and durable! The other side is like a soft t-shirt. Soft, thin and comfortable. Imagine you have a very soft, sport size blanket shirt to sleep in. I feel. The woven side appears to be of higher quality than the cotton side. Cotton tends to wear out quicker than woven. I've been using this comforter for about a month and only wash it on the gentle cycle then pop it in the washing machine hoping it will last, only time will tell. The corners around this blanket are very well reinforced. The size is for one person, like the size of a plaid! I tried both sides on different nights and neither side caused irritation or heat. I sleep with the air conditioner set at 64 degrees to take the heat off my nerves. (In other words, I don't get colds often.) This helped maintain my desired body temperature and didn't raise it beyond what I could feel. I'm glad I found a replacement duvet on the first try. When I have enough money, I plan to buy a spare blanket just in case. I didn't find anything I didn't like about this blanket. However, if anything changes over time, I will correct this review. If you are sensitive to touch or heat I would suggest trying wicker bedding, I can't speak for everyone but this and this. is working!
