This brush works great! I've been using a boar hair wooden brush for a long time because all the information I read online said it was the way to go. You were wrong! At least for my hair type. I have thick but fine hair and the boar bristles on my wooden brush were too harsh for my strands. I didn't realize how much it ruined my hair. This metal barrel brush made me see the light! Now my hair dries much faster and the bristles don't stick to my hair like I thought they would. I highly recommend this brush if you have fine or thin hair and need a delicate styling tool.
