Brilliant! Ideal! Love it!

I bought this for my son's bunk bed. He's on the top bunk. It fits with an inch or 2 margin (from the top of the tent to the ceiling). I think I needed 47 inches from the bottom of the mattress to the top of the tent. Most importantly, I needed a tent that opened up at the ends for him to climb inside. The opening on the side does not match his bed as he is on the top bunk. There are 2 panels on each side and each end. They are all fully open so basically 75% of the tent can be opened up for ventilation and lighting. There are mesh windows at the ends with mesh. The pages do not have mesh windows. The mattress fits INSIDE the tent, not over it. That was the worst part of trying to shove a twin bunk bed mattress into the tent AND THEN place the mattress and tent on the top bunk at the same time. These are 3 tent poles that need to be inserted to make the top taut. They are not absolutely necessary, as the round frame at the ends means that it will also stand without them. I accidentally placed the insertion point of these tunnels at the end of the wall rather than the end of the stairs, so inserting these rods took a lot longer than it should as I had to bend the rods at a 90 degree angle at each segment because the Wand didn't allow me to insert the whole pole at once --- if that makes sense. So pay attention to the side where those 3 poles go so you don't pick up the mattress with the tent on it and find you have to lift it back up and rotate it 180 degrees. like me. My 3 and 5 year olds play there comfortably. I'm 5ft 5in and I can sit Indian style without squatting. Inside has a pocket to put your phone in, books/magazines, flashlight, water bottle etc. haven't gotten lost I have a dark gray and it's quite dark inside Little light gets through the fabric Seems to be excellent quality but I am only a month old. I glued glowing dark stars to the inner surface of the tent and they adhered well. I shine a very bright flashlight on them for about 10 minutes before my son goes to bed and it looks so amazing lying in the tent looking at the bright stars. I would definitely recommend this tent to anyone wanting to use it as a top bunk If you are wondering if it will fit on the bottom bunk you will need to measure from the bottom of the mattress to the bottom of the top bunk. The tent is 47 inches high, so if it's under 47 inches, it's too big for a bed. Photo #2: The end is fully buttoned. Photo #3: The end is fully zippered but with the window open. Photo #4: Same as #3 but shows how you can see through the tunnel. Photo #5: same as #4 but with flash. : Side view with the side port fully open. Photo #8: Side view with the side opening fully closed. Photo #9: Inside view (with camera flash) of the side wall with the tent fully closed. shines through the fabric of the tent Photo #11: Inside view of a closed opening with the lights on in the room and the door open (rather dark!)
