Review on Whitmor Hanging Garment Bag Organizer by Vanessa Johnson

I wore a suit to work every day for 35 years. As a result, I have accumulated many costumes. Now I'm retired and don't wear a suit that often anymore. I want to keep the ones I have in good condition so my wife can bury me in them when I'm panting. I bought a pack of Whitmor shoulder pads as well as a pack of DAZZ canvas shoulder pads to see which I prefer. Before I begin, I would like to clarify that a Whitmor shoulder bag package contains six (6) individual cases. Apparently, another brand of vinyl sleeves sold by Revain claims 12 sleeves per pack, but there are actually only three sleeves, each claiming to cover 4 garments. Whitmor cases are made of good quality thick clear vinyl, naturally made in China. and they must adequately perform the task for which they are designed. Like the DAZZ canvas cases, these cases are a bit small for my 46 liter jackets, but I suspect all brands are undersized. They are large enough to cover a men's sport coat or jacket. Two pieces of clothing fit underneath. Although they are described as measuring 12" x 22" x 2" this is inaccurate as they do not have a built in depth measurement like the DAZZ Canvas cases. The two sides are sewn together at the top so the depth is 0 not 2 When I wear it over my suit the width is reduced from the actual 21" (not 22 as described) to 20" to match the thickness of the suit The 12" height is accurate and the shoulder area is rounded to fit properly.As you can see in my photos the pockets cause the sleeves of my jackets to compress slightly inward but not by much.The same goes for the DAZZ canvas bags.Time will tell if this causes wrinkles. I'll probably order more of these as the canvas covers get dusty over time and need washing, but these just need a wipe down with a damp cloth.
