True to size and bright red as shown, but the material is very thick and not breathable. Looking like soft material for a Halloween costume, the ruffle is not a bikini bottom but more of a cheeky or thong style. It has plastic clasps and is difficult to snap and release in an emergency, so remember your bathroom breaks smart. Overall I bought this as a Christmas top and it will be fine for a Christmas party but it will not suffice as an everyday item to wear to work or outing.
