Don't buy it for Surface Book 2
won't provide enough power for my Surface Book 2. very expensive) solved this problem, but now my laptop is slowly draining under heavy use. If, like me, you absolutely need a Surface Connectivity Dock, I recommend getting the Surface Dock 2, but the prices are crazy too.
