Review on Sanuk Men's Vagabond Slip Blackout Loafers - Comfort and Style Combined! by John Blanco

1st pair of shoes I've ever returned

I really wanted to like these Sanuk Vagabond shoes. In fact I did. The style is neat and rustic and they matched my Real Deal Brazil perfectly. Unfortunately, these shoes are only made to be admired. The shoes are true to size as they should be loose. They use their lip to dump sand and other debris into the opposite boot as they walk; which is in fact intended for styling shoes. And yes, if you're walking the dogs or chasing the kids, you'll have to stop periodically to shake things out of your shoes. However, I weigh less than 200 pounds and don't pull or shuffle when I walk. The main problem with shoes is the material used for the sole. They are a layer of foam and not even good foam. I had $4 sandals at the drug store with a more durable foam sole that lasted longer than the foam soles on those shoes. In less than a month the foam soles are paper thin and these shoes are so uncomfortable that I refuse to wear them. I've never returned things I've worn before, but this is the first time. Didn't even last a month with moderate use. I can't justify throwing away $60 on a pair of shoes that look cool but are less functional when I only have to shell out another $50-60 for a replacement. I will miss her shabby look very much. Sanuk. Please come up with a better sole!
