Review on Upgrade Your Mazda Experience with the PAC RP4-MZ11 All-in-One Radio Replacement & Steering Wheel Control Interface by Jason Connolly

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A bit expensive, but saves the hassle of installing a stereo system after the sale.

Installed on Mazda 3 2013 with Bose system. If you already have car stereos installed, it's pretty easy. Just make sure you read the instructions first. The steering wheel remote control works fine on my Pioneer X930BT. Even bluetooth. My LCD screen is still fully functional. The PAC RP4 lets you customize the car's LCD and steering wheel buttons if you want, but it worked for me right out of the box. Be sure to buy an antenna adapter. The only adjustment I had to make was to set the main unit's attenuation to a minimum to compensate for the Bose system's low operating impedance. This works well enough for now. but will probably do without the Bose amplifier in the future and update the speakers.
