Let me start with wow! They look great and really make the steering wheel look sportier. They lay down easily and the adhesive feels strong, even after baking in the Texas summer sun all day. Make sure you rinse both the new and factory blades with alcohol to help the glue stick. Being made of metal, they get quite hot when they've been in the sun, but they seem to cool down quickly when the air conditioning is on. Now I have the problem that they are useless in terms of functionality. You cannot activate the lever from the extended part of these new paddle shifters as the original paddle shifters just stick to try to twist and bind them. It's not really this product's fault on the Mini/BMW anymore, but you still have to put your fingers where you would stock paddles to use them.
