This is an amazing GPS mount. This is the only viable "permanent" GPS mount option I've found, and it does so at a great price. With multiple mounting options, there's no reason you can't find the right mounting location for it. I decided to install it on the front left passenger seat bolt. I have a 1996 Honda Accord and even with the front seats angled this bracket fits well and is perfectly positioned. It took me about 5 minutes to install and configure. Make sure the "bolt" (the gooseneck appears to be threaded) that goes into the mount is tight or it will dangle when trying to adjust the gooseneck. Use an 11/16" wrench to tighten it. I did this after screwing the bracket to the seat so it had some resistance. Another nice feature of this mount is the ball mount. I pulled the stock Garmin mount out of the suction cup which has the same 17mm ball You then just slip the Garmin mount into the ball mount and adjust it where you want it. Leaning on the adjustability of the ball mount itself I would definitely buy another one of these Buy mounts and keep on my recommendation Make the list more permanent I wanted a professional look and this Arkon GPS mount gave me that at a great low price and easy installation.
