Very decent considering the price

I tried 3 'better' coolers, changed this one from 3 to 4 stars. With a better understanding of what a cooling pad can do, I like this one a bit. If you want something strong, durable or powerful to keep your laptop cool while gaming/video editing then this isn't it. the lightest cooling pad I've tried. It is also the thinnest and quietest model. This model has small protrusions on the back that fold over for creating and tilting (similar to a standard PC keyboard). The surface coating has sufficient friction to prevent slipping. and it has an on/off switch (both things are rare at this price point). What I particularly like is that the bottom edge is only slightly bevelled, most cooling pads are designed like a tray with thin sponges on top of the block with the fans, as they have no edge you can slide it into the socket and do it worry about the edges chipping, it also means it has a wider base, more comfortable when you use it on your knees, chest, stomach. The fans are weak even by the standards of cheap cooling pads, but that's (hardly) for the purpose of keeping your knees warm (if you're using them on your lap). pads). It is thin and light as the plastic and metal used are thick enough to support laptops. eight. It will be crushed or broken if dropped from a height above the waist. The surface is not a typical metal mesh, but a thin sheet with very small holes in it, ostensibly because such thin metal would not have the structural integrity that a mesh would. The smallness of the holes further slows the flow of air. And obviously this is a cheap cooling pad, sooner or later the fans will start to vibrate or fail.

Pros
  • Cooling Pads & External Fans
Cons
  • Expensive
