This is a very well built and well thought out wall unit. It's way better than the flat mount we had, but the bright light from the new ceiling fan was driving us nuts so I bought this tilting mount. They did a great job providing lots of mounting hardware for different brands, sizes etc. It even comes with a small bubble level. Even with our 60-inch flat screen, it's pretty solid. However, you really have to think twice about what you're doing, because the instructions say nothing! Lock them and then slide the part of the wall and see where it sits on the TV. Since the screws are on the back of my TV, mine was not centered at all. If I just went to the next picture and screwed a piece of wall where I thought it should go as shown in the instructions, it would look ridiculous above the chimney because it would be off-center by a mile in height. Get a really good idea of how everything is going to fit together and then measure how far the wall plate is from the top and bottom of the TV in the brackets. Use these offsets to measure where you want the wall and THEN attach the wall plate properly. I hope this saves you a hundred different holes. in your wall. Aside from the instructions which don't allow for variations in installation this seems to be a very good wall mount and like I said before I think they did a great job of making it as versatile as possible with all the hardware that came with it make. Just be prepared to do some pre-game math before you jump into anything, because instructions leave a lot of room for impatient error. Hope that helps.
