Excellent pumps and probably best under $100 (even compared to more expensive brands like Allen Edmonds) This is my second pair. The Originals were 6 years old and made in the USA They are now made in the Dominican Republic but the quality is the same (no Chinese crap here and I applaud Timberlands for not "Chineseizing" these shoes like it does many brands do now.) Even pumps in the $200 range.in the sun.hours, then dry access.Skin takes on a saturated, wet appearance, which also helps lock it in.-Unlike most pumps, the heel has good grip/grip so it's also manageable in rough terrain but casual conditions.- Premium look with brass hardware.- Leather laces (v ome pumps do not use leather laces). in sneakers and ordered these at 8.5. A couple of days did not fit properly, but after greasing everything is fine. (But that's not really a minus). - 1" Rubber heel may not be preferred by some people in heels. Personally, I love that extra extra support, but whatever your goat swims. Other: Just got back to the island from a 7 day trip/holiday and have Only took 2 pairs. My English dress shoes and these Timberlands. I have fished, hiked, boated and walked around the island/town/village a lot and have never regretted not bringing another pair. I have also got a few compliments from random people.we were on a coral reef during our fishing trip so i left them on and they were fully submerged in knee deep sea water for several hours.i came back yesterday and washed them.then i applied mink oil. Like new I hope they hold up as well as my original pair.
