Pillows on beds and sofas not plump

I am disappointed that the pillow is still as flat as I took it out of the box after 48 hours. bed is ok One of the reasons I bought this pet bed was the pad. Can I do something about it? I scared the bed and pillow several times but it didn't help at all. June Malone
