Attention - family land purchase, nephew has started a nature farm on the property and he is culling this month and shearing in spring. Called him on FaceTime to see if it could be used and got dizzy. When it arrived it walked me through the setup as the instructions provided will give you a lot of useful information but no blade attachment specific information. In the second photo I am pointing to the handle on top which needs to be completely loosened then the large blade is installed and tightened as shown in the last picture. Then install the smaller black blade and tighten the handle as shown in the 3rd picture. The instructions say 1mm to 2mm between the blades, but he had me tighten the handle until I could move the blade by hand, and then slide it back less than a quarter turn so it could move without metal issues. He got me to run it and it worked, nothing crashed lol but it shut down quickly as my nephew says there is a process (some instructions say too) to build in a new tool. He seemed heavy to me but according to him the weight doesn't matter because what he has is 8 years old and it's a tank (his words). He says the price is great. I've talked about using this to clip other animals and he was adamant that clipper blades are for certain animals. So if we buy other animals like alpaca, we need other blades. The instructions said the same thing but he's an expert so I decided to check it out. I'll update the video in spring with usage and any issues if any, but for now highly recommend based on expert opinions!
