It's super comfortable. The material isn't too flimsy, but I'd recommend lightweight shapewear or a body suit if you want a really slim line. I'm 5ft 4in, pear shaped (36-30-42), about 145lbs and fit M. The dress is very stretchy so I ordered it to fit my chest but I still want it almost going up a size to make my waist and hips looser. Luckily I got the color black so it would hide the fact that the bottom half was tighter than I wanted. This will look great on someone who has an hourglass figure or straighter. This is a relaxed fit but is not fully flared. The brand's size chart is correct. Order according to your hips if you want them to hang like the model photos. Otherwise, it looks slightly fitted in the middle and bottom halves. I love the crew neck and the slightly dropped shoulders - it's casual yet looks classier than regular tank tops. The length on me is up to an inch off the ground which is perfect for walking. Overall I'm happy with the dress and am considering ordering a size up for additional colors!
