This purchase was for testing only. Loved the design, much needed heat dissipation as my MacBook Air gets really hot with all those zooms! I really like the padding where it meets the MacBook and was very impressed with how strong and stiff the joints are! This means I don't have to worry about it not staying in place or hanging down while I'm using it, even if I rest my hands on it while I'm typing! It is excellent! Much better than I expected. I ordered another one for my daughter as she has had neck pain from looking down so much while studying and scaling her classes. She can now raise it higher so that her line of sight is level with the screen raised on this stand. It also fits perfectly into an extremely large history book without bending over, again helping her take the pressure off her neck! If you're worried about looking at your desk or laptop, or bending over to read books, this stand shouldn't disappoint. This has saved me and my daughter a lot while distance learning continues. When I come back to class I will still use this stand to get in the best position. An excellent purchase which I no doubt spent the money on. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
