Review on Red and Black Alpine All-Weather Dog Coat by DOGGIE DESIGN by Carmen Wan

Arrived before Christmas (so they promised beforehand) Just in time for heavy snowfall. I have an XL for my Sheltie who is 25lbs but is a very stocky, broad chested, strong girl that doesn't go with any other jacket. It's really well done. The best for us is the design. It's easy. Some coats require the back legs to bend to get into the sleeves and this is such a problem and scares my dog. She hates wearing sweaters because of the same problem. Many coats have velcro on the bottom or neck of the jackets and this doesn't work well with a long haired dog as they will snag and pull. It also has elastic straps in the back that hold the coat in place which is a nice feature. I like the adjustable strap because on most other designs there was a "hard" point above her rib cage and this adjustment worked well. Excellent coverage. She likes the fur around her neck - it doesn't rub or itch. In single or (-) temperatures she can play outside a little longer and the parka fabric keeps her dry and not wet in the snow.
