Ideal Starter Kit

What I like about this NL660 light set is its price. This kit gives you everything you need to start working on small film scenes or photographs as you can see in my photo. The light panels are slightly smaller and only have 660 LEDs, 330 daylight and 330 incandescent bulbs. So if you want to light up a large area or shoot into the sun, you need something more powerful. It can work if you fill in the shaded areas a bit. I like these sets because they are small and don't take up much space and when I need to shape the light I can turn on one of them. The batteries last a long time and are hot-swappable, which can come in handy in some situations. If you create YouTube videos or do interviews, this kit might be one of the best to start with. This kit is not for people looking for more progressive lighting. There is some leakage behind the combustion doors and the spacing between the LEDs with the diffuser panel removed is noticeable to the trained eye.

Pros
  • AC/DC Power Options: Powered by AC adapter (included) or NP-F970 Li-ion battery (included); With 4 batteries and chargers, you don't have to worry about power outages when shooting outdoors
Cons
  • Fade Light
