To be honest I was quite disappointed with the inability to get audio with my Fire Stick 4K to get "model 2018" with an audio system for PCM. Still, I tested it on other devices (PC and Fire Stick Gen 2 2016) and they worked fine. I was thinking of rating this a 4/5 due to incompatibility but the description didn't say it works in 4K. Execution. so I give 5/5 because it works as advertised. Recommendations: - Reading other comments it might be a good idea to use a magnetic USB cable to avoid straining the USB port when you need it. Troubleshooting:- Fire OS updated to the latest version. - Audio output set to PCM - Tried a second 4K stick (stereo output) - Tried PC - works - Tries stick 2016 model - works - Dolby Digital Plus Automatic (I suspect it uses "Dolby Digital Plus OFF" since this product not t compatible) -- The device was turned off and continued to operate on HDMI power only.
