Review on 💻 Enhanced VGA USB Compact KVM Switch - IOGEAR GCS632U 2 Port by Juzer Rashid

For several years I have been using Remote Desktop Connection to use my desktop screen, keyboard and mouse on my work laptop at home. This worked very well, with one exception: I couldn't find a way to use the headset on my laptop during online conferences. So based on other reviews I tried this device and it works great. Two quick presses of the scroll lock button and keyboard, mouse and monitor switch between home desktop and work laptop. I don't use the audio part, so I can't comment on that. But I leave the headset plugged into my laptop and it's always ready to go. Also, I have a simple little HDMI 3-to-1 and now I have a main VGA monitor on this IOGEAR device and a second monitor. to HDMI. I have to switch it manually if I want the extended monitor to work on both PCs, but I mostly just use it for my work laptop. So if I use IOGEAR to switch the main monitor to my desktop, I can leave the second monitor showing my laptop's extended screen until I switch back to my laptop on the main monitor. I was thinking of getting a docking station like the ones I have at work that would make it easier to use a desktop keyboard, mouse and monitor. But then I would need two sets of everything, and that would cost a lot of money. The IOGEAR solution is much simpler, more flexible and much cheaper. I'm so glad I stumbled across this device and wish I had found it a long time ago.
