After watching a documentary on chemicals in the home, my husband was bent on ridding our home of as many chemicals as he could find. I was a little reluctant since I had routines in place & I liked my skin care products. But sometimes you humor the one you love, so I agreed to try to find natural alternatives for the products I used & give them an audition in the bathroom.I actually came across this facial wash when researching cleaning supplies. I liked the ingredients and decided to try it out. I'm so glad I did! This is by far my favorite face wash I've ever tried. It does a good job, but doesn't dry out my face. (I don't wear much makeup, so I can't tell you how well it removes that.)This product doesn't actively exfoliate (I think it does remove dead skin cells, but doesn't give much of a scrub.). If I want to exfoliate, I just mix up a soft paste of baking soda a water & scrub my face gently in the shower before using the NaturOli facial wash. I have been using this facial wash for just over 6 months and have never wanted to go back to my old products.
