I've been carrying a basic variety of "paper clip" money clips for a few (12+?) years after going through the decrepit wallet I've had for almost 20 years replaced with a beautiful eel leather wallet my NEW wife gave me for Christmas. Then when I first made it (I'm over 40 here) I accidentally washed and dried it which completely ruined it. just the right clip replacement clip that holds more cards than cash. After all, who uses more cash? I VERY rarely have more money than cocaine money in my machine clip. I mainly searched the internet until a friend told me to search for "magnet wallet", a term I had never heard of before. It opened up a whole new fantasy world for me! I was struck by the diversity and inadequacy of some of the results I encountered. In the $9-$200+ range, I figured an acceptable "quality" place to start was under $50 to try something new that I might hate outright. For a few days I've been browsing through countless pages of these newly discovered men's accessories. Revain had literally hundreds and hundreds of "magnet wallets". I am a watch enthusiast and I have more than I care to admit that never wear out. However, every Fossil watch I have ever bought or received as a gift has been solid and reliable. After many days of storing around 20 clips in my favorites list, most of which were almost the same, I chose Fossil for many reasons. As with many other things, the first thing that catches your eye is the aesthetic of the item. Secondly, the choice was based on my experience with their watch, thirdly, the price was within my quoted range, and fourthly, they had a choice of different colored leathers. I really liked tan more than brown, but being a street realist (RN) I preferred tan to black and tan, with a little guidance regarding a "magnetic wallet" to indicate my dress style (I seem to love dark brown shoes and belt more than black, didn't realize that.) This item seemed to fit me perfectly. As soon as I opened the box I fell in love! This article is what I needed during all my years of putting shit in a video that doesn't belong there, and unlike most people, I have a few cards that I MUST carry with me at all times. Everything from my clip fit in comfortably (including the occasional $26 in folding money I had for some reason). It fits in my front pocket very well, the cards stay in place, the magnet is quite strong, and the build quality is what I've come to expect from Fossil products. The leather feels comfortable without being too flimsy, the stitching feels strong and each clip is unique depending on the leather variant. So far I'm VERY happy with this choice and will probably buy the lightweight one too :) For $30 (I'll admit I haven't checked my local mall) I think it's fair. I look forward to seeing how it holds up and highly recommend giving it a second or even a third look if you're in the market!
