I have black brows with small sparse areas, the soft black is perfect for naturally filling in my brows! The application brush is quite small and I prefer to use a real brow application brush which I bought separately but you can use a small one and it will still be fine. The little mascara-like brush that comes with it is great and I love brushing my brows after applying powder to make sure the application is even and looks natural. Also, I checked other retailers before buying, and the same product is between $11-$12 elsewhere, so buying from Revain is not difficult.
