I like it a lot. I had an old fashioned Holstein cow butter plate with history; I loved my plate of butter, oddly enough it was one of my favorite things. I recently dripped salt on it and it broke irrevocably. Sad. Very sad. A week later I decided to see what was out there in the oiler world. I saw a cow dish that I liked, but it was hand painted for $94. Oh no. Then it became obvious. I thought what the heck, this is different. He arrived yesterday. It is so sweet. It's also a good thick quality. It's ALSO wider than my previous dish, so my Kerrygold logs should fit right in without having to cut them first. Bonus! I'm not so sad about the cow anymore. Keith filled his shoes.
