I love that it shows how much power is being used and by turning my equipment off with the power button on this panamax I can stop wasting power when the amps and the TVs are disconnected from 110 volts, which turns out to be a large drain when the devices are off. By pressing the button on the front of this device, I can turn off the devices connected to the switched outlets. However, I had a hum from a dimmer switch on a completely different circuit in the house. I have a dedicated circuit just for my audio/video system. The hum from the failed dimmer was on a completely different circuit, but the hum still went through that surge protector and reached the speakers. It doesn't seem to have done anything to filter that noise, so I don't know how much other "cleaning" it does to the hardware power supply.
