I would never use them indoors, except maybe to light up the hallway of a cheap nightclub. Lenses don't produce "full" colors. The fields of each LED overlap but do not exactly match. So you get a portion of the color you want in the center of the beam, where each color overlaps, but each LED scatters at the edge of the beam. I used it to retrofit my landscape spotlights and am very satisfied with the results. The unmixed colors create a very dramatic effect on each of my bushes that would not be economical to replicate with any other light source without doubling the number of lights. Definitely not worth $40 for 5. But if you can find them in stock, they're good for a DIY project.
