I have a Motorola 2050 radio and it's not providing a good connection. Even if you push the jack in as far as it will go, the plug will come loose and not work from time to time. Then you have to push it back in. This can be model specific as the rubber coating around the radio can prevent it from staying in place. I ended up getting a Motorola OEM version (manufacturer says it's been discontinued) and it seemed to work just fine.
