I love this handbag!. It is very sweet. The colors are bright and cheerful, but not flashy. It is much more colorful than in the picture. The turquoise-red beadwork on the sides is particularly striking. This is not a big bag but I prefer small and light bags due to shoulder and neck issues. This bag will probably not suit you if you prefer a large bag. It's big enough for my essentials. There is a front pocket with magnetic closure. No inside pocket. The zipper (cat shape) and the buckles on the handles are very strong. It doesn't have a flat bottom. It's just two sides connected below. I have a dancing dogs shoulder bag in the same size and style. I have a total of 4 Laurel Burch bags. All are colorful and functional. I'm looking at three other styles. I ordered a shoulder bag with a cat for my daughter. They bring some color and vigor to my day!
