1st- Socks are short .Not over the calf, foot part is correct length, but only 1/2 calf at best.2nd- Socks are not comfortable to stand or walk in.But I said for warm toes I will deal with it.Now the results. Wearing Thermasilk socks under them as a liner. Also wearing Baffin Trapper boots with removable liners (that do reach over calf 17").Morning Day One hunting:Using Remote, I didn't think they were working so dug down to them both lights on medium and cold toes. Changed to high and could feel them working.Morning Day Two hunting: Left them off until I needed them and ran on high and had warm toes for 2.5 hours then they quit. (Let me add that it was warm toes and cold heels)Morning Day Three hunting: Left foot quit working, (lights on and plugged in fully) One frozen foot and one with warm toes and cold heel.Morning Day Four Hunting: Just Thermasilk socks as liner and Heat holder socks, NO electric socks, and my feet were little chilly but comfortable, better than the electric sock experience.
