These are great to wear alone around the house. They are thick and fluffy, but still thin enough that I can wear with most boots. Do not have non-skid bottoms but they weren't too slippery on my floors anyway. Ran a bit big, but I am also on the low end of the size range. Would probably buy next size down next time, but personal preference. On the upside - teenager can't steal them if they are too big for her!
