I got this neck strap for my Sony RX1R mkII because I usually only use the wrist strap and finally wanted to train my neck. I was initially attracted to this particular strap from everyone else as the O-rings fit perfectly into the attachment points on the camera. I immediately had to redo 2 things: 1. I had to cut off small pieces of skin designed so the O-rings wouldn't "scratch" the camera. I don't understand how o-rings can really cause significant damage, but more importantly, bits of skin interfere with the camera grip. My index fingers rub the debris as I hold the camera in position.2. I used a paper clip to increase the length between the camera attachment point on the right and the neck strap (see image). The leather wrap on the strap presses a red button that turns on the video recording function when I hold the camera upright and shoot from the rear screen, which I often use in addition to the viewfinder. After wearing the camera around my neck for an hour, the strap started digging into my neck, but this was alleviated by wearing a collared shirt. Overall, I'm happy with the strap, and it's only $15! Similar climbing ropes are available from BH Photo for $100! The strap will stretch a little, but only 3/4 inch with actual tension. The strap is a great length, I'm 5ft 8in and the length is perfect.
