So I work in IT and when the printer manufacturers stopped shipping AB type USB cables to their network printers for 0.50 cents I laughed, but partially understood as it makes sense connect the printer to the network if it is capable of doing so. However, this printer does not support network. This printer is also designed for simplicity, so it advertises one button and ease of use. Then it will satisfy the less tech-savvy folks who just want a printer they can set up themselves. Do you think these people will immediately consider the printer completely unusable unless you buy an additional part elsewhere? I can't understand why HP doesn't include a 0.50 cent USB cable considering it's literally a requirement for the printer to start working out of the box. I still gave the printer 4 stars because it is a very cheap working printer with the cable. You're refunding the ink, of course, and how greedy the company can be if you don't include a USB cable. Unbelievable. I'll update my review if this thing breaks in the coming months.
