As the name suggests, I am pleasantly surprised. The blocks were easy to assemble (about 15 seconds) and durable for their intended use. I had glasses and mugs full of brushes and painting tools. Now I've separated two neat brush blocks so I can see them better. I was worried my long brushes might fall off but as you can see from the photos they stand up straight. The handles of some of my brushes are too big to reach the bottom, but they still get enough support to stay in place. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it as a way to organize your art supplies.
