I have never ordered a surgical suit after surgery and will definitely use it now. This has prevented him from surviving massive abdominal castration surgery, and due to its thick, stretchy material, it seems to evoke something of a thundershirt. It calmed him down and made him feel a lot better while wearing it. The suit itself is made of a different material that I'm not familiar with, but it's thick and stretchy. It's not cheap. I like that you just put it on your head and arms and then on your back and secure it with tabs on either side of the tail. It is made so that a girl can use it in the bathroom but not a boy. He can also poop with him. There are four strong buttons on each side of the flaps that wrap around the tail to close it. It's been 12 days since the surgery and he's still wearing his and enjoying it. I ordered according to the weight chart and it's 130lbs so it fits XXL. He is a small dog. I have read the comments on other surgical suits and this one seems to have the best rating. Definitely worth your money! Much better than the Cone of Shame! LAUGH OUT LOUD
