I've bought this hair about 4 times now because it's so similar in texture to my own hair. I think I would say 4c hair texture. I really don't know, just a guess. I keep getting wonderful compliments and everyone thinks it's my own hair. So yes, I recommend hair. And we will order again soon. I unbraided my hair so it wasn't as twisted as it came. I love that big hair.
